Bradley Smoker makes its debut at the CLA Game Fair - 31 July 2002

Broadlands, in Hampshire, was the venue for this year's CLA Game Fair, and at Bradley Smoker UK, we were delighted to be invited to showcase the Bradley Smoker, as guests of Orvis UK. Commenting on the success of the show, Richard Banbury, Retail Manager of Orvis UK says ' The Bradley Smoker received a fantastic response at the show and attracted attention from a wide variety of customers. Many were already familiar with the techniques for food smoking, but there were many who were newly or freshly inspired by the versatility and ease of use of the equipment.'

John Watkins, representing the UK distributor says ' It is the ability to cold smoke in addition to hot smoking and barbecuing that is the real plus point for the product. Our tasting samples of cold smoked trout, prepared in the Bradley Smoker, were the true proof of the equipment.'

The location at Romsey, in the Valley of the River Test, the major trout fishing river in Hampshire, meant that there were a great many knowledgeable local sports fishermen in attendance. ' We have headed back from the fair with many new ideas for recipe development' says John ' of which smoked eels, will be one of the more exotic and unusual.'

Next year's Game Fair will be held in North Yorkshire and we are already planning our display !
